Gossip -- Good or Bad
Eph. 4:31 Titus 3:2

Eph. 4:31 Let all bitterness (upset, angry), and wrath (much anger), and anger, and clamour (shouting with anger), and evil speaking (gossip, insulting words, lies), be put away from you, with all malice (evil desires, mean):

Notice this verse tells us that all kinds of anger we are not to do. That is what the world does and we are not to follow (copy) the world.

Titus 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle (kind), shewing (showing) all meekness (humble) unto all men.

We are not to say anything bad about another person. This includes gossip and telling lies.

We are not to fight with one another. This includes physical and verbal which means arguing.

We are to be gentle and meek (humble). Gentle is an outward act. How we act to other people.

Meekness is an inward attitude. Both are things that as Christians we should be doing.

When we are gossiping, telling lies, getting angry all the time, not loving others, we are no better than the world, because that is what the world does.
